I might sound like a whippersnapper, but I started in radio in this market waaay back in 1979, when AM stations ruled the airwaves. Married the love of my life almost 30 years ago, and we still act the same, just in slower motion! When I am not on the air, I spend time in community theatre, with photography and scrapbooking, and hanging out with the granddaughter who is 15 now and becoming a sophmore at Petal High School! 
I spent most of my childhood in San Antonio, so my first and favorite food is mexican. Not a fan of (gasp) chocolate except in plain cake with no icing.
Seriously support local charities like Red Cross, Salvation Army and Civitan Camp and spend a ton of money for Make-a-Wish Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Near and dear to my heart- and a place I try to visit as often as possible- is Southern Pines Animal Shelter.
